About Babbo

As the Italian saying goes A tavola non si invecchia’ (‘At the table, no one grows old’).

Babbo – meaning ‘Daddy’ in Italian – is a vibrant restaurant in the middle of Mayfair featuring contemporary renditions of classic Italian recipes (some passed down over 100 years) alongside signature cocktails and an expansive 130-strong wine list. With a contemporary, inviting atmosphere and an eclectic interior, Babbo screeched onto the scene in seriously slick Italian style in April 2018 – with the Brazilian international football players Willian Borges and David Luiz as co-partners in the restaurant.

We select only the finest produce from around the world enabling our Head Chef, Nicola Cariglia, and his team to create stylish, elegant, quality food inspired by Italy and with Mediterranean influences. Both pasta and bread are made in-house, from scratch, every day – just like in Italy.

We strive to bring to you a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy the company of your friends and family while celebrating exceptional food and wine to bring you a truly memorable experience that you will want to return for.

Babbo is a home from home, a place to tell stories, make memories, share food and celebrate with friends and family.

Spanish graffiti artist Victoriano’s artwork adds modern vigour to the interior with the very colourful and custom graffiti murals adorning Babbo’s walls (and the styled vintage Fiat 500, affectionately dubbed ‘Luigi’ parked outside). The murals draw inspiration from Italian cinema spotlighting the concept of family.

What a great place to visit. Terrific service, an amazing staff, who are always make people feel special, including their wonderful manager Roberto. Since all my friends are different, it worked just perfect for us, since they have lots of options for meat lovers, vegetarians etc + add a massive choice of drinks! Can’t wait to come back!

I took my son here for his 16th birthday and we most certainly wasn't disappointed!!!

From the moment we were greeted at the door, by a lovely lady, to the moment we left was just fantastic. The service was very good the staff were very friendly, chatty, extremely efficient and just very welcoming!!

They made our experience personal the food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced too. They brought my son a birthday treat out with a sparkler and they all sang happy birthday to him, it was made even more special when Giroud, chelsea footballer, also joined in and sang happy birthday.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience, you really must check this place out. We will 100% return..i want to work my way through the menu.
